is where a person has pauses of breathing, while sleeping. Breathing stops and starts. It's important to recognize sleep apnea symptoms. The symptoms from sleep apnea can be having a sore throat after waking up, waking up feeling as if you're choking. It's important to get sleep apnea treatment, especially if you are suffering from serious cases of it.

Getting a good nights sleep is important to help function properly. Those who suffer from sleep apnea tend to struggle to sleep effectively throughout the night. Sometimes it's possible to have sleep apnea without even knowing it. Since sleep apnea tends to happen when you're sleeping, obviously. A relative or another household member usually detects it. The airways seem to get blocked while sleeping, which causes apnea. Which obviously causes difficult of breathing. I'll show some ways to help treat sleep apnea, and get a better nights sleep.


~ Change your sleeping positions.~
Don't sleep on your back for instance, this can cause difficult of breathing, while sleeping. Sleeping on your stomach can also make it difficult to open the airway to the body. For instance, you should probably sleep on your side to avoid difficult of breathing.

~ Change your diet. ~
For instance you should workout, lose weight, and don't drink alcohol. Bad health can cause sleep apnea in a person. If you smoke, this is obviously one of the symptoms from apnea. Smoking causes breathing problems, along with asthma. Eat better foods as well.

~Contact your doctor. ~
You'll probably need sleep apnea treatment, but check with your doctor on what kind to get. There are different sleep apnea treatments. Continuous Positive Airway Pressure(CPAP). Yes, it's a sleep mask that allows room air through the airway. Enough pressure to keep the throat open. In some case surgery is needed, in much more severe problems continue to happen. In other cases dentists can help you out, by helping to keep an airway open with a few different techniques, making it easier to breath while sleeping. You should definitely contact a doctor first, before deciding what you need.

~Get a nasal spray for your nose. ~
Common colds, or allergies can definitely cause mild cases of sleep apnea. It helps clear nasal passages. Buy a nasal spray at your local drug store, this is very helpful in allowing you to sleep much easier. During allergy season, it's quite typical to suffer from mild cases of sleep apnea.
