Golf Fitness Workout

By | Nov 22, 2009 | 2 Comments | Rating: 0

As a beginner golfer, I have been at it for close to a year now, I've learned that part of getting better is a good golf fitness workout. Sure there are many aspects to improving your golf game: balance, posture, grip and proper swing plane, but having flexibility and a strong core helps just as much. Strength flexibility and balance help build a strong golf swing.

You need a good center of gravity so that you can end your swing where you started. You need good flexibility, especially in your torso and back, to be able to get the club around on the swing, and you need strength to be able to not only hit the ball but to be able to last 18 holes, after swinging some 70 to 100 golf swings.

The other benefits to building up your strength flexibility and balance is that your shots will go much farther. Look, when you are on a long golf course, the farther you hit the better off you are. If you know what you are doing and are consistent then the further you hit, puts you closer to the hole, which means less swings, and less time. We are assuming here that you have practiced your putting and chipping so that you are not three putting your way to the hole.

Most golfers forget or do not think they need to work on their flexibility or strength to help out their golf game. I've been playing sports most of my life so I have benefited from other sports coaches telling me that I needed to hit the gym to build some strength. So when I started playing golf I had that mind set. It's tough when you are at the gym staring at all the machines and wondering which one will help with what I need. So, I did a little research and found GolfGym PowerSwing Trainer: The most effective golf-specific fitness product you can buy.. The PowerSwing Trainer is a golf-specific training device and it has been around for over twenty years now.

I've been using this product for about three months now, and I can feel a definite difference in my back, core muscles and the distance that I get. I don't know about you but my back usually hurts a bit when I'm done golfing. Since using the PowerSwing Trainer I'm not as stiff anymore, my back and abs are much stronger. As for the distance, I'm hitting a good twenty yards longer with my driver. The best part about the device is that it's portable. I can take it on trips, and it's easy to store away with all my golf equipment and it's not costing me an arm and a leg. You can't go wrong with a product that even the pro's are using.

Is it going to turn you into Tiger Woods? No, but GolfGym Golf swing training aids are going to help you in the long run, to improve your swing and your game.
