The Goth movement really began to gain traction in the UK during the early part of the 1980s. Combining this desire to stand out with such a classic character as the fairy makes for a truly interesting Halloween costume. It is fun to combine modern fashions with the mythological creatures, in essence creating your very own Halloween legends. Fairies are said to possess mystical powers such as the ability to manipulate forces of nature such as the wind and the rain, the ability to fly, and the ability to turn invisible. Unfortunately (or fortunately depending upon how you look at it) you will simply NOT be able to disappear while wearing sexy adult fairy costumes.

Do not let the darker nature of these fun Halloween costumes prohibit your teen from wearing them. Your teen will want to dress as sexy as possible to her party and in a Goth costume she will show a lot less skin than she might wearing some other type of outfit. Fishnet stockings, for example, may be a tad risqué for day-to-day wear, but may add some much needed coverage to an otherwise short and sexy Halloween outfit!
