Grafitti on the Berlin Wall
The video below was created from photos taken during a vacation trip to Berlin, Germany, on July 27, 2008. The photos are all of the Berlin Wall, showing the beautiful artwork, some of which has been unfortunately destroyed by ugly grafitti. When the wall came down, artists from all over the world came and painted murals on the remaining pieces of the wall. Some of the murals and artwork shows behind the graffitti. The observer, if he or she looks beyond the grafitti, can see some wonderful scenes, many of which depict the struggle that the German people went through at the time when the wall was erected in this beautiful city. My son and daughter-in-law are standing in front of one of the scenes. They live in Germany and I was visiting them to celebrate my son's 40th birthday with a trip to Berlin.
