Great Beach Hair Ideas and How to Achieve the Perfect Look
The ladies on the west coast really love our beach time, and amazing beach hair is not out of reach for anyone looking to strut the sandy shoreline in style. No matter your hair length consider some of these classic ideas to keep you looking cool and feeling sexy.
Colors That Make Beach Hair Wow
Summer time is the right time for beach hair, and most ladies opt for a lighter version of their normal hair color, be that dyed or otherwise. If you don't feel like a whole new look, consider instead some natural highlights, these are a great beach hair look and no matter your natural color they can usually be done relatively easily. If you want something a little more on the bold side, try a light strawberry or platinum blonde look, these are classic ideals to beach hair just depending on your natural skin tone, those with darker skin will want to stay away from the reddish look, it just isn't attractive on most women. Whatever you decide, summer is coming fast and you are going to want a great beach look to meet the season with.
Styles for all Lengths
I like the feathered, "Farrah" look (for those of us old enough to know who she is) and it works amazingly well at the beach, being blown around in a breeze by the water. It compliments a large set of sunglasses nicely and is instantly recognizable at the beach or anywhere else for that matter. The style also works reasonably well for those with shoulder length hair, framing the face and giving a soft, attractive look all around. Those with short hair are just going to love not having to untangle those gorgeous tresses at the end of the day, and will look great regardless of how much wind is blowing.
Options for the Follicle Challenged
If you have thinning hair and are looking at a stay at the beach, or even if your idea of beach hair is just stuffing it under a huge hat, there are things you can do to look great and feel sexy. I just love going to Nordstrom's and buying myself a huge beautiful hat because believe me, with a yard of dark red hair and milk white skin, far from Farrah I end up looking like a poodle hair experiment that went terribly wrong and that isn't my idea of fun.
