Sweet potato French fries are great without any dipping sauce but here are some of my favorite sauces for dipping my sweet potato French fires in.

Fry Sauce

Fry sauce is great for a wide variety of dishes including sweet potato fries. Here in Idaho many of us like to use Fry Sauce for everything from fries, steaks, to even smearing it on our hot dogs. A good fry sauce will use mayonnaise and not Miracle Whip. Add in some pickle juice and some ketchup and mix well. I prefer to use the Heinz Brand Ketchup that uses real sugar as opposed to most store bough ketchups which use high fructose corn syrup.

I prefer to use real mayonnaise but if you like a sweeter tasting French fry sauce then I encourage you to use Miracle Whip. The best thing about fry sauce is you can make it however you like. I have even added diced green peppers to my fry sauce and let me tell you, that was some of the best fry sauce I ever ate.

Honey Mustard

Honey mustard is a great condiment for dipping sweet potato fries into. You can use either regular honey mustard or a spicy honey mustard. The spicy honey mustard is a great way to offset the semi-sweetness of the sweet potato French fries.

DC's Sweet Potato Fry Sauce

Take a small bowl and add a lot of Worcestershire, some Tabasco sauce and mayonnaise. This is my own version of fry sauce that I use specifically for sweet potato fries. I do not add ketchup to this version.

Dream It Up

Make your own sweet potato French fry condiment. If you like certain ingredients then mince them up and blend well. You may find an awesome sauce condiment and eventually become a millionaire marketing your own condiment that you created from scratch. Long live the sweet potato fry! Sweet potatoes make some of the best French fries in the world.
