Dessert Barbeque Recipe # 1: Grilled Banana Splits

Yes you heard it. Banana splits right off the grill. Here’s how you do this easy and delicious desert.

What you need to buy

2 cups chocolate chips (you can use other varieties like butterscotch chips too)

1 package of the small marshmallows

Aluminum foil

6 – 8 bananas

Ice cream

Chocolate and other syrups

Whipped cream

Preparing the dessert

Don’t peel the bananas. Take the bananas and cut them end to end making sure you cut the banana inside without penetrating the peel on the other side. In the cut you made fill with as many chocolate chips and marshmallows as physically possible. Wrap in aluminum foil and throw on a hot grill for 5 minutes. Note that this is dessert so if the grill has cooled down during eating time you may want to leave the bananas on for longer. Remove the bananas from the aluminum foil and remove the peel. Serve ice cream on top with syrups and whipped cream.

I you don’t like those banana splits you my friend have serious problems!

Peel, core and slice apples into discs (doughnut shaped) and set aside. Mix 1 cup orange juice with a little bit of ginger. In my opinion with ginger a little bit goes a long way. What you need to buy

Cinnamon

Oil
