Christmas time has to be the busiest time of year for everyone. The days fly when spent shopping, sending out those cards and preparing for the big day. Simple easy snacks are the best way to go. Preparing food a few days before hand will make it easier still, with less to do on the day.

Heat this for approximately 4 minutes. Stir and heat for another 4 minutes. Now add the vanilla and butter and stir again. Heat for 2 more minutes. If cooking on gas use on lower heat or it could burn.

Sound yummy. I can no longer eat peanut brittle as my poor old teeth are very fragile.

Mmmmm, chocolate chip Meringues sound fantastic. I always have a bottle of batter blaster pancakes for snacks. I know pancakes are normally served for breakfast but my kids want them all the time. It's so easy because you just spray it from a can like you would with whipped cream. I let my 11 year old son make them....he likes to spell his name "joe" with them. He thinks he's pretty clever.
