These lenses are currently being made in the same manner that soft lenses are. Thus, creating the layer of comfort that they overlooked when the lenses were first made. Plus, for the most part many people will not even realize that you have contacts in. The colored contact lenses that are being made today, do not give off the aura that they are fake. However, the lenses of the past made their existence known by creating brown circles on the outside of the iris. Obviously, if you were adorning a brown contact lens, the circle would not matter.
