Guide to Buying a Camping Shower Enclosure

By | Jul 26, 2010 | 0 Comments | Rating: 0

Buying a good quality camping shower enclosure these days is certainly a lot easier than what used to be the case. Today consumers can with the click of a mouse go online and have a look at a huge range of portable shower enclosures and other camping gear. Campers are therefore able to order online virtually everything they might need to outfit them on a planned camping expedition from the comfort of their home. Consumers for example can buy everything from a warm pair of thermal socks to tents made in a wide range of different materials, sizes and shapes.

The traditional camper who has always believed that bathing in a stream or river is part of the overall camping experience will of course find it difficult to adjust and accept many of the modern trappings available. However, there are now many people used to the comforts of home who are prepared to pay for convenience and comfort when camping. For example, with the introduction of the portable camping shower enclosure, manufacturers of camping equipment have virtually eliminated the need for people to stop near a stream or lake to wash after a hard day trekking through the bush or trekking through the outback. Although the materials that are used to make a portable camping shower enclosure are relatively light they can be cumbersome for one person to carry alone. Several trekkers traveling together however would have no problem with transporting the material used to make up one of these enclosures.

A camping shower enclosure can be quickly erected when required and is generally manufactured in weatherproof and UV resistant durable fabrics in a range of styles. Many modern portable camping shower enclosures now have self draining floors to help water to drain away. There are also several innovative designs available for campers that can be used as a toilet tent or private dressing room.
Campers these day's can also have nicely heated water for their camping shower enclosure by using solar bags that can carry between 2 to 5 gallons of water. When the water inside the solar bag has heated (the time will depend on how much water needs to be heated) the bag is hung inside the enclosure where the user can control the temperature by a water temperature gauge.
