HCG Diet For Weight Loss

By Edited Nov 20, 2013 0 1

There are many different diets that people go on in order to lose weight. It can be tough to shed the pounds off of your body if you have let the weight accumulate and have not been exercising or eating healthy, but it definitely is possible. There are a lot of weight loss solutions that you can try if you are a person that has had enough of the extra baggage. If you are overweight, you are not alone, there are literally millions of other people that are morbidly obese and need to do anything that they can in order to make their bodies healthier.

What exactly is the hCG diet for weight loss? Basically this type of diet involves making use of the hormone "hCG" which has been linked to natural weight loss. There are many people that have used this type of diet and have been able to knock off some serious weight. Most people that go on this type of diet believe that they will be able to lose at least a half-of-a-pound of weight per day. Will you be able to lose over one-half pound of weight each day with this type of diet? It really depends on a number of different factors such as genetics, diet, and exercising habits.

If you are a person that is eating a box of doughnuts each morning or skipping meals so that you can "binge eat," you are probably not going to notice a huge benefit from the hCG diet for weight loss. Despite the fact that this diet has become very popular, many people have different perspectives as to whether or not it can be effective. The goal of this type of diet is to cut back on calories, which is not always good for your body. What happens when you cut back on the amount of calories that your body is getting from food?

Each time that a person cuts back on calories, they are actually reducing their overall mass-of-muscle. Most people that are overweight should not be calorie cutting because it is clearly an unhealthy way to lose weight. However, even though the hCG diet for weight loss will cut calories, it will not reduce your amount of muscle. The degree of effectiveness has been highly disputed by weight loss experts. In case you were wondering, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has not approved this type of diet as a healthy way to shed the pounds.

Are there any risky side effects that come with this type of hormone-changing diet? Yes, there are always going to be some side effects when you alter your body's natural chemistry. The most common side effects include: headache, nausea, tender-skin, and upset stomach. Most people do not experience all of these side effects, but they may have to deal with a few of them. It is advised that you seek a medical professional if you have any further questions about dealing with the side effects of the hCG diet for weight loss.

Clearly this is probably not the best way to lose weight, but it may be something to keep in mind if nothing else seems to work. Your best bet to lose weight is to go on a strict diet of raw foods and vegetarian foods and make sure that you are getting both cardiovascular exercise (e.g. running or biking) as well as doing weight training. The combination of eating as healthy as possible, weight lifting, and doing some cardiovascular activity each day will help you shed the pounds that you need and become a healthier person. You should be very skeptical about the hCG diet for weight loss and talk to your doctor before you ever use it.

The goal of the HCG diet is not to cut back on calories. I don't think you understand what this diet is, nor that it is always implemented under a doctor's care. The side effects you're listing are also not accurate for this type of diet. Sorry.
