Full Review

I recently gave up a very cool phone. I got the idea to go back to the basics, and get a very basic phone, with a very basic plan. The phone I gave up was the HTC Touch Diamond. What an incredible phone.
The same size as the Blackberry Pearl, but with the touch screen of an Iphone. Oh how I regret the loss of that phone. Now, I can't complain about being able to sell the phone to compensate me on some of the pain. But, the techno part of me really misses that phone. It has so many features to choose from.
The HTC Touch Diamond has so many features:
-2.8-inch touch screen, with four times the pixels of most cell phones out there.
-The incredible TouchFLO 3D user interface, which responds perfectly to your finger gestures when scrolling through contacts, browsing the web, or launching media
-The remarkable and vivid screen displays photos and artwork powered by the 3D graphics processor.
-HTC Weather - provids a constant view of weather at home and abroad.
-Surf and download at broadband speed with HSDPA internet connectivity.
-3.2 megapixel auto-focus camera for quality stills and video.
-4GB of internal storage for your photos, music, files and exchanged data than ever before.
-Integrated GPS for use with maps software for a full turn-by-turn satellite navigation experience.

I miss it terribly. What brought me back to the basics was not the phone, but the contract with one of the major carriers. I have recently gone to a No Contract cellular service, and I love it. It is the best priced one around, the major carriers can't beat it. But....the phones are not as good as what you would get at a bigger carrier like Alltel, Verizon, or Sprint. So, even though I loved the HTC Touch Diamond, I don't miss the cost, the headache, and the never ending contracts of the major cellphone carriers.

In Closing

I loved having the phone, and hope to get a new one soon. It is everything I wanted out of a touch screen cell phone, but not overly bulky and large. I would refer this to many friends and family. It's a great phone.
