Hair Systems For Men Have Been Improved

By | 0 Comments | Rating: 0 | |

Hair systems for men traditionally were not the most comfortable or the best looking. Many were easily spotted because they looked very artificial. There have been great strides made in the field of hair replacement techniques and this is reflected in the way they fit, look, and feel.

With advances made in the material used for the bases, these hairpieces now sit much closer to the scalp. In making this change, the manufacturers have achieved a more natural looking hairline for their products. They have also taken to tinting the base material to closer resemble the natural skin tone of the user, making the piece virtually undetectable.

Many men lead a very active lifestyle, whether it is for work or play. For those that work in a physical job such as construction or landscaping, traditional hair systems for men caused issues because they did not remain in place during strenuous activity. With advances in the types of attachment methods available, there is now a lot less worry involved in wearing one during such activities.

Many men only lose hair on the top of their head while retaining some on the back and sides. For them, there is a particularly secure method of wearing a hairpiece, known as a "weave." This uses the existing hair and interlocks it with the hairpiece by means of small holes in the base material, making it very secure and eliminating any slippage issues. Slipping can cause a huge problem as it can dramatically impact the appearance of the hair piece on the user's head.

The only small drawback to the weave is that in order to remove and replace it properly, the manufacturer recommends that the wearer consult a professional hair technician. These consultations will be required every seven to ten days of hairpiece wear, to properly car for the scalp and the hairpiece. However, this is a small trade-off for the peace of mind that comes with knowing the hairpiece will stay in place.
