When you are losing your hair, what are you going to do? There are a lot of products and services available on today's market, all of which claim that they can solve your hair loss problem. Some manufacturers will claim that their product is going to slow your hair loss down. Others claim that their product can stop it. And yet others claim they can reverse it. Advertisements are trying to sell you all sorts of stuff to combat your hair loss, from vitamin supplements, to topicals such as aminexil, to toupees & hair pieces, to drugs such as finasteride and dutasteride, to hair transplants. Some of these things have been proven to work. Others don't work so well or not at all.

While it is possible for a person to lose hair due to a severe lack of a certain vitamin, these situations are very rare. But under normal circumstances, vitamin deficiency will not be the cause of your hair loss and neither will vitamin supplements provide you with a solution. Topicals that you have to rub on top of your scalp will help you a little bit. But it's a costly solution and it only improves your situation very slightly.
