Halloween, Trick or Treat, Costumes and Pumpkins
Halloween is now at less than two months distance. Although the summer heat is still here, we start smelling those yellow pumpkins that make such a gorgeous pie, we think of scary outfits and home decor elements, shortly we prepare for the fall fun, to get the most out of it.
Families with small children are maybe the most excited about this celebration, because they can unleash their creativity and imagination when it comes to getting their baby the cutest costume ever. It's like a competition between moms and dads to make their toddler the center of attention and the navel of their universe. This is why the "batarina costume for toddlers" and similar ones are among the most sought after since several years ago. Parents like to dream about what their kids are going to be when they grow up. It's true that this strange behavior may cause a lot of tears and misunderstanding sometimes, but in case of dressing the baby for the Halloween party that's all fun and laughter.
Adults with children tend to pick their Halloween costumes in a different manner than those who aren't parents yet. They simply focus their choices on their kids: they are interested about mascot costumes, although this choice is going to take more money out of their pockets. Children love mascots, and money is less important when you know you'll have a great impact on your kids. This is priceless, so many moms and dads forget about planning and budgeting their personal finances at least for this night. Christmas and Easter are also two occasions when parents spend too much. However, since everybody has a great fun and kids remain with extraordinary memories, the inconvenience of spending a bit too much is quickly forgotten.
Wise parents still can recover a part of their Halloween expenditure: if you buy a parrot mascot costume this year, what stops you to sell it next year and recover a part of your money which will be now the basis for a new costume, maybe a tiger or a dolphin mascot one? Besides, other parents will be happy to buy your costume at half the price of a new one. It's supposed to be worn only once, so it's probably looking like new anyway. If you don't know where to sell your old costume, try eBay and you won't fail. It's free and easy to join, then you can easily become a seller and get rid of all the stuff in your home that you don't use anymore.
