Have You Moved Your Articles from eHow to InfoBarrel Yet?
I do not write on ehow. Majority of my writing is on HubPages and i do not see any reason for moving them anywhere as they are my major earners. As far as InfoBarrel is concerned I started only on September 1, 2009 and have not seen results as expected so far. I Hope to see better results soon.
It seems like more people are moving here from eHow.
I really haven't heard anyone complain about Infobarrel.
I am writing at eHow and just had 2 articles wiped out-never heard why from anyone-just beginning to try some other sites-thank you for a very insightful article!
I am an unhappy e-how contributor. I have nearly 200 articles there, but it never reaches that for very long. The funny thing is that their reasons for deletions are so bogus. They will state it is common sense and then take the same exact title and rewrite it. My plan is to build here, they seem honest and it seems much safer here. I am writing much more here than for e-how. I lost 18 articles last month! I appreciate your article, people should know the truth about e-how.
I have almost 350 articles on eHow and would have over 400 if not for mass deletion of articles that I believe they make money off of otherwise why couldn't we rewrite it as on any other article directory.
Many writers suspect unethical practices on eHow since they have lost so much money from the deletion of articles. Therefore, they are writing elsewhere they do not trust eHow and put nothing past them at this point.
I was writing for ehow but it didn't take long for me to be upset, I would put alot of time and hard work into my articles and one of every 3 would not be published because they said it was already on the web, I knew it wasn't I had spent long hours writing this stuff myself it was my work and no one else,It was hard in doing recipes because I guess maybe every kind is out there on the web somewhere. I had just started to get my money building up good and had just received an email my article that was submitted was published when I clicked to view it my account wouldn't log in I sent them a email and they replied saying my account was closed because of articles that was already on the web.All of my work in submitting those articles and I had no pay.I help my mom who has lung cancer so I write my articles then I have them prepared to type so I'm not sure if it was because I was submitting several at a fast pace or what but They wiped it all off, that was very hard for me to accept knowing how hard I had worked.I would not recommend them to anyone.Their business will fail because you don't do people that way and get by with it.
eHow is on the ugly list in my book. I still have articles over there, I am still making money - but I assume that as soon as ehow needs the link or SEO words they will sweep mine words away like leaves in the fall.
Currently deleted articles are magically coming back for some users.
The site is full of gliches. It is hard for me not to sound so negative when speaking of eHow.
Infobarrel has never given my any type of issue.
Currently I am trying to figure out which articles I want to move from eHow to infobarrel.
This is a thumbs up and a good write.
eHow's actions have really inspired me to write all these articles....I'm really not angry or bitter for my own sake, but, it really is truly unfortunate that thousands of innocent freelance writers are being pulled into it....
I truly don't believe eHow has a sustainable model, simply because of a variety of factors. People will make short term revenue, but if eHow doesn't start listening to it's members, it won't be around for very much longer.........in fact, many longterm eHow users are gravitating to sites that give better customer service and transparency.....
I really feel sick to my stomach....because it is comparable to a straight up scam.........people work very hard, and just to remove/delete people's highest ranking articles, for no reason, causes me great concern....especially when they don't allow any opportunity for them to fix those articles, and immediately redirect them to their major contributor's articles....
sad.
i see where you say you moved articles to infrobarrel from e-how, I was under the impression you could not use articles written or published elsewhere, am i wrong?
i have written many artivcles but I have yet to make any money from there being posted. I must not be doing it right.
The more articles I read on this subject the better I feel about trying this site out, but leaving my active eHow articles (for now), active mainly because I havn't figured out how to earn money on this site yet. I just signed up for a Chitka ID, so maybe that will help. My articles have been not only randomly deleted at eHow, but I have been OUTRIGHTLY plaguerized twice by eHow's editors. I'm now so annoyed that I didn't do anything about it! I wrote two How To's in one week, and oddly enough, my article ideas and virtually my title appeared on the Home page there, but it was written by two different eHow Editors! Unreal.

Great article! My hope is that Info Barrel keeps growing. eHow was not responsive and full of bugs.
