Heartburn is a known digestive problem that happens when the stomach acid rises into the esophagus and causes pain and irritation. Oftentimes, heartburn occurs after eating. There are certain types of foods that you can eat to lessen heartburn avoiding fried foods, fatty foods, caffeine rich foods, sodas, salsas, pizza sauce and soup will help you lessen the symptoms of heartburn. You also need to eat smaller amount of foods but in a frequent manner. Oftentimes heartburn occur when the stomach is full because the pressure on the sphincter between the stomach and esophagus. You should give your body enough time to process the foods that you have eaten inside your body before you lie down. A teaspoon of brown sugar can also be helpful once you feel that there is a symptom. Listening to your body will be very helpful in the long run. The stomach produce different quantity of gastric juices with different degrees of acidity and the foods that you will eat will be digested by the system individually.

If you are suffering from heartburn after eating, after an exercise or after an activity, you must be lacking adequate amount of water in your system. With sufficient amount of water, every muscle will be hydrated.
