Nuheart

Nuheart heartworm medicine is extremely low in price at under twenty dollars for six months and is a great and popular generic heartworm med for those on a budget. They come in pill form and are flavored so most Dogs will see them as a treat. The main advantage to Nuheart heartworm pills are that they are also soluble. This means that they are by far the most recommended generic heartworm pill. You can dissolve them and add to your Dogs food if there are any problems with your Dog swallowing a pill.

Proheart

Porheart is another very cheap heartworm med that is extremely popular. It works well and has low prices. Not as popular as Nuheart but still one of the best generic heartworm meds available.

Valuheart

Finally we have Valuheart. It is very inexpensive but is a generic version of Heartgard. This probably makes it the most popular in terms of sales. It contains the same ingredient as Heartgard and works in the same manner. If you want a low priced alternative to Heartgard then Valuheart will act in the same way but for half the price.
