If you love drinking herbal tea and want to use it for healing purposes, here are some good ones to try. You don't have to grow your own herbs to reap the benefits of the herbal healing power. Most herbal teas come in loose tea or tea bag form. Being healthy can be as easy as a cup or two a day. If you begin drinking it for specific health reasons, you may find that they may alleviate further health issues or in some cases, you may be able to decrease you medications by using Natural Remedies.

Blueberry tea has been known to regulate the blood sugar and is really helpful with diabetes. This is a great preventative measure for those who are on the borderline of diabetes. Incorporating Blueberry tea into your daily diet may save you a huge health risk. You can find this at your local health food store.

Bilberry tea has powerful properties that can improve your eyesight. A good thing to remember when taking herbs for natural remedies, including teas, is that you will need to be patient when waiting for results. Most herbs will take longer to see results then prescription medicines. Despite the time they take, they can be much more potent once they begin to work, without a lot of harmful side effects. That's not to say that you don't have to be careful when taking herbs as natural remedies.

When dealing with hypertension or high blood pressure the best ones to use as remedies are those with hawthorn or yarrow in them. It's ok to combine these two herbs in tea form as well. Hawthorn is beneficial when the leaves, flowers or berries are used. With long term use, Hawthorn will increase blood flow which will decrease blood pressure. This is a great herbal blend to use but as always check with your doctor especially if you are already on prescription medications.

Lemon grass tea is highly useful for lowering your cholesterol. It acts as an aid to help digest your food better and removes unwanted toxins from your body. Try drinking this tea at least once per day as a natural herbal remedy against high cholesterol.

  • To take control of your health issues, you need to be proactive.
  •  Good research on herbal remedies is always wise.

  • Keep your doctor well informed on your herbal consumption habits especially if you are on prescription medications.
  • Always check with your doctor if you are pregnant or nursing before using herbal remedies.
