These images continue to transpire in one's mind, and can lead to severe problems. Panic attacks might be symptoms of PTSD.

Phobias: Phobias involve fear of a specific activity, or situation. One can have harmless phobias. For example, being afraid of snakes is a common phobia. However, some phobias can interfere with their lives. For example, some people can have phobias of being in a car, or afraid to interact with people. Phobias involve fear of doing, or being in a certain situation. Everyone has a phobia, but some can become intense and serious conditions.
