High Protein Shakes For Weight Loss

By Edited Mar 13, 2016 0 1

Actresses like Charlize Theron, Beyonce and Demi Moore have all admitted to going on a liquid protein diet to lose weight. Either for a movie role such as Beyonce did for "Dreamgirls" or Charlize Theron for the Oscars Ceremony for 2003, the year she won the Best Actress Oscar for "Monster" ~ the movie for which she had gained some 20 something pounds and so wanted to lose that extra weight quickly for award season.

High protein shakes for weight loss

is one of the most popular diet plans. It's easy to understand why - meal replacement high protein shakes work. Research studies indicate that you can lose 4-6 points in weight a month if you use meal replacement protein shakes in a sensible manner.

There are even high protein shakes for women which contain soy protein. This is said to help reduce the appearance of cellulite. For best results, combine it with regular exercise - make it aerobic exercise. And if you want a body like Beyonce, Demi or Charlize, you can't simply park your car at the other end of the company car park and expect the pounds to just fall off. You will have to exercise at least 3 or 4 times a week at a high level.

And, don't just rely on a solely liquid protein diet either. Replace one or two meals a day with a meal replacement shake and eat healthy, fresh and good food as your main meal. The best time to switch you meal for a pure protein shake would be in the morning - replacing your breakfast. And in the evening - after your workout to give your muscles some protein to repair and build themselves up.

Do all high protein powders taste like sofa stuffing? Fortunately not any more!

The best tasting protein powder for weight loss is, in my opinion - and I've tried a lot - the Nature's Plus Spiru-Tein High Protein Energy Meal

. My personal favorite flavors for Spiru-Tein are Vanilla and Cherries Jubilee. They are so tasty that I can actually bear to drink them with milk or soy milk (usually I drink the horrible tasting high protein shakes with fruit juice and even sometimes a whole banana to mask the taste). Spiru-Tein contain 100% of the recommended daily serving of Vitamins A, C, D, B12 and E and there's just something creamier and not fake about these shakes. The best tasting protein powders are also the ones served really cold - make your milk or juice super cold and they will taste super refreshing.

For a great home-made weight loss protein shake or smoothie - use something like Nature's Plus Spiru-tein but add a little bit of honey, walnut, some sliced bananas and lots of ice. Yummy!

It can also be a great way for kids as well to get their essential vitamins and protein. Use a high protein shake to create an ice cream, or peanut butter shake.

Enjoy and remember that protein is an essential part of a balanced diet so make sure you get your daily dose!

I just finished publishing an article on protein diets. After reading yours I realized I forgot to tell the readers NEVER drink a Soy protein drink. The question anyone should ask themselves prior to a new exercise or a new diet is risk vs reward. Soy protein is not woth the risk. Where did you get the information that Soy helps reduce cellulite? Would you mind directing me to the research that shows "proves" your advice. I'm sorry if I am coming off smug but it's an area of interest to me. So looking to see if I missed something. See Soy also contains goitrogens which depresses Thyroid function. Your thyroid is a gland that regulates your entire endocrin system. Again , sorry if my tone sounds harsh. Not my intention. Just trying to keep up with a subject thats important to me...Thanks
