Himalaya is the glory of India. Many tourists from all over the world come here to enjoy the beauty and splendor. Many locals and tourists visit the Valley of Flowers. What is the best time to visit and enjoy the beautiful spectacle?

The best time to visit the Valley of Flowers is between May and October. If you enjoy walking, and taking in the panoramic view, the Valley of flowers is the place to be. The Valley of flower does get its share of snowfall due to its high altitude. The Valley of flowers is located in the state of Uttarakhand (India). In order to enjoy the Valley of flowers you will need to put on your mountain shoes and be ready for the 17 km walk. Everything comes at a price but, the exercise and the opportunity to visit one of the most spectacular valleys in the world, the Valley of flowers is worth the effort. The nearest town is called Joshimath.

How many times have you visited a tourist location and you are disappointed? At times you are bored because there isn't much to do. Apart from flowers, is there more to see in the Valley of flowers?

If you don't like flowers, you may still like the panoramic views. If you like neither flowers nor the panoramic views, you may like the exercise. If that still doesn't motivate you, there are wild animals in the Valley of flowers. You might get the opportunity to spot a red fox, the Himalayan black bear, the golden eagle, snow pigeon and many more. It doesn't mean you should throw caution to the wind. Wild animals can be unpredictable, so you need to take your pictures from a long distance. The Valley of flowers has more than flowers to offer because of its size and location.

If you live in the west, the Valley of flowers is a long distance away. You definitely want to make sure you are not going to waste your money and time. Is it really worth the time and effort to visit the Valley of flowers?

If you are only tagging along because your other half is a nature lover, there will be plenty more things to do in India. The Valley of flowers is just a small part of the huge country called India. Anything that has to do with getting away from it all is worth the effort and time. That is what the Valley of flowers offers to those who are willing to take the chance. If you have never seen wild animals in their natural habitat, getting a chance to see one in the Valley of flowers will convince you that it is well worth the effort.
