Angelina Jolie born on 4th June 1975 at Los Angeles in California has won one Oscar and three Golden Globes. Her father Jon Voight won the Oscar award when she was two years old. In New York, Jolie had a happy childhood collecting snakes and lizards. She named her pets the lizard as Vladimir and the snake as Harry Dean Stanton. In 2001 she adopted a Cambodian boy named Maddox. She pledged $ 5 million to the wildlife sanctuary in Cambodia. She had a great sympathy for poverty stricken nations because of which she was made a Good Will Ambassador for United Nations. She was also made an Honorary Citizen of Cambodia in 2004.
Spring of Life
This is when she ended her three-year old relationship with Thornton. The couple officially separated in May 2002. She had a list of films to her credit, such as Shark Tale, Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow, and The Fever. Along with Brad Pitt, she starred the movie Mr and Mrs Smith. Although Jolie's femme fatale was well understood by the media, the couple remained tight-lipped for almost a year.
