Are you looking for a home teeth whitening solution? Having white teeth is one of those things that can really enhance the way you look. One of the first things that people look at when first coming in contact with someone, is their smile. When you have yellow stains on your teeth, it can often be embarrassing to have. So what can you do to help your teeth becoming whiter without having to spend a lot of money on expensive surgeries? This article will talk about the different teeth whitening methods that you can use in the comfort of your own home. Obviously, some methods will work better than others.

The first type of at home teeth whitening is using toothpaste that is made to help make your teeth whiter. These normally have a label that says it contain baking soda in them. Pretty much every brand of toothpaste out there has several types that are made to help you achieve whiter teeth. The advantage of using this type of method is that it's cheap. You are already using toothpaste, so might as well get on that can help whiten your teeth as well.

The next method involves hydrogen peroxide teeth whitening. This is basically where you take hydrogen peroxide and you mix it with baking soda to form something that looks like toothpaste. You can then use this to brush your teeth. It acts like bleach and can help make your teeth look whiter. You can also rinse your mouth with some baking soda as well.

Another method of home teeth whitening is using those whitening strips. These things can be bough for about $50. What you do is stick them to the top and bottom of your teeth. The amount of time you have to leave it on before taking them off will depend on the product that you get but typically it will be for about 20-30 minutes. The advantage of this is that you will see the results a lot sooner the first two methods. The disadvantage is that it cost a lot more money. Also, for some people, the gel that is used to make the teeth white can cause the gums to become sensitive. However, the results of your whiter teeth can last you for years. Your results may vary though and you may have to use more than one box of these things depending on how yellow your teeth are.

Another tip is to combine the above methods. Instead of just using the whitening strips, you can also brush your teeth with whitening toothpaste after you are done using the strips. This can help speed up the whitening process. Some people have found this to be extremely effective. If you want to do a test, you can use this method on only your top teeth and see if it will turn whiter than your bottom teeth.

Any of these methods may or may not work for you. The results you get with any type of home teeth whitening method will depend on the condition of your teeth. You will also want to stop or at least reduce the things that can cause your teeth to become yellow again such as smoking or drinking coffee. Once you have the white shade that you want, it is in doing these things that prevent your teeth from going back to yellow that will make it stay white for a longer period of time.
