Homedics Foot Bath

This is a review of the Homedics foot bath. I recently went out of my way to purchase a Homedics foot bath because I basically work all day on my feet and I was really starting to get some aches and pains all over my feet. So I decided to buy a foot bath to try and help me to relax. I couldn't find any Homedics foot bath reviews so I bought one on faith. I had seen one in a shop window a couple of times and I liked the look of it. So, on with the Homedics foot bath review.

The particular Homedics foot bath that I bought was the Homedics BL-300 which is also known as the JetSpa. Its dimensions are 14.8 x 16.5 x 7.2 and it weighs around 8.6 pounds. The features of the product include three spinning attachments which are at the center of the foot path. There are also four jets sprays which are supposed to deliver powerful and soothing massage. The machine is described as being very quiet and the products describe the heat which is in the form of a soothing massage and helps maintain the overall temperature of the water.

Okay so as I said, I bought my Homedics foot bath when I was on my lunch break from work. I really couldn't wait to get home in the evening and unpack the box and try it out. I was fairly disappointed with the results. I followed the instructions and set up the Homedics foot bath in front of my TV, I settled myself in for a nice comfortable relaxing foot massage session. Well for a start the water was only lukewarm within 10 minutes. The Homedics foot bath product information said that the heat would be maintained. I'm thinking the bubbling action dissipated the heat from the water. And as far as the massage action goes, I don't think that was very good either. The best part of the Homedics foot bath was the three spinning attachments. But even those stopped working if you let your feet push down too hard on them. Overall I thought the whole machine was a bit of a joke. Far from being relaxed and comfortable, when I finished using machine I felt frustrated and my feet were as sore as ever.

In fact I went outside into my kitchen, boiled up a kettle of water, wrapped myself tightly in a nice warm blanket and soaked my feet for 10 minutes in a much basin. This was much better, not only could I topple the water with my kettle plus I could add scented soap to my homemade foot bath, which you couldn't add to the Homedics foot bath for fear of clogging up the water jets. So, in conclusion to my Homedics foot bath review and my personal recommendations... don't even bother, soak your feet in the bath and you will get better results.
