General Information
Hosta Garden Party is a large variegated perennial plant. This variety is a sport of Hosta Golden Sculpture. This plant is slow growing but forms a beautiful clump once it matures. This plant is both sun resistant and slug resistant. This perennial is not under patent.

Plant and Leaf Size
Garden Party grown to 26 inches high and forms a clump that is 45 inches wide. The leaves of this Hosta are 16 inches long by 10 inches wide. This is a large plant with large leaves and it makes a statement in the garden.

Leaf Color and Details
The variegated leaves of Hosta Garden Party are a bright yellow green with medium green edges. The leaves are somewhat textured and it has slightly prominent veining. The large almost round leaves are slightly rippled. The leaves of this plant cup slightly downward.

Flower Color and Details
The tubular flowers of Garden Party are white and they bloom from early June to mid July. The flowers stalks are 40 inches tall. The seeds of Hosta Garden Party are fertile and can be used for breeding. Propagation of this variety should be done via division if the goal is to have a plant that is a duplicate of the parent.

Hosta Garden Party is a beautiful perennial Hosta plant for the home garden. It is large and needs plenty of space to grow but as it is slow to grow the area around this plant can be used for other perennials or annuals while the plant matures. This plant can be grown as a specimen once it matures or used as a companion for other part sun perennials that like a regular watering schedule.
