Paris, France is an amazing place to visit. This City is very much romanticized in books and movies. The reason for the popular romantic aura of this large City is not wrought without a basis in fact. The City of Paris has had a huge history, and you can see and experience much of that history in present times. Whether you are going to Paris with your wife to rekindle your romance or going as a single person hoping to find love, the City of Paris is a great place for romance. Even if you are not the romantic type you will find many great places to visit if you decide to go to Paris. Here are some of the top hot spots to visit in Paris, France.

1. Louvre Museum

The Louvre Museum in Paris is one of the largest Museums you will ever visit. This museum is mega-huge and chocked full of truly stunning displays. Not only does the Louvre Museum display historical artifacts, but the Louvre Museum is also considered historical building. The Louvre Museum is the most visited art museum in the entire World or at least on Earth because we do not yet know if any alien life forms on other planets have a larger art museum.

The Pantheon in Paris, France was originally built and used as a Church. Currently the Pantheon acts as a mausoleum and houses the deceased remains of rich and distinguished French Citizens.

The Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, France is definitely one of the hot spots you should visit when you got to Paris. Many people who have never been to Paris before instantly recognize the historical landmark because it has been featured in so many movies and television shows.

4.  Eiffel Tower

The Eiffel Tower is by far the most recognizable and well-known structure in Paris. In fact, the Eiffel Tower is recognized by people all over the World whether they have been there before or not.

The Eiffel Tower was finished in 1889 for the 1889 World Fair, although construction originally began in 1887. The Eiffel Tower is still the tallest structure in Paris.

The Eiffel Tower was originally designed to only stand for 20 years, and then Paris planned to tear it down. The Eiffel Tower had a permit to only stand for 20 years, but at the end of the 20 years the Eiffel Tower had proven very useful for radio communications. Paris officials allowed the Eiffel Tower to continue to stay in place so they could use it further. During the First World War the tower was used to put radar jamming equipment on the tower which successfully blocked German radar and helped to protect Paris from being besieged by Germans.

Regardless of which parts of Paris you visit you will continually run across amazing and historical architectural structures. Ensure that you bring a good camera with you when you visit Paris so that you can capture some of the many amazing scenes you will run across.

Paris can be a very entrancing City. Simply having lunch at a small café while sitting on the sidewalk and watching the locals walk by can transfer you back in time mentally. In situations like these it is easy to understand why Paris has had so many artists spend time their over the years. If you have always fancied yourself as writing a book then take your laptop because the City of Paris is truly one of the most inspirational and motivating venues for artists and writers.

Everybody seems to be aware that the Statue of Liberty in New York City is a gift that was given to use from France, but people are often shocked when they run across one of the 2 smaller versions of the Statue of Liberty that still stand in Paris. Although these smaller versions of the Statue of Liberty are not near as large as the one France gave to the United States, they are still awesome to see because they are standing in Paris. Smaller versions of the Statue of Liberty Can be seen in different regions of France, but the 2 statues in Paris are by far my favorite because the city they are in is absolutely amazing.

One very popular thing for tourists to do in Paris is to eat at some of the many restaurants and cafes. Paris is known for having some amazing top culinary choices. Feel free to experiment because you are bound to find foods that you love to eat that are totally foreign to you.

Most first time visitors to Paris are entranced by the amazing sights and smells of Paris and vow to return to this City again. Young backpackers hiking across Europe often seem to spend more time in Paris then they originally planned to. There is nothing that can seemingly draw these young backpackers away because there is so much to see and do in this amazing French City. There are numerous inexpensive Hostels that cater to young travelers in Paris. Although the Hostel costs may seem high compared to Hostels in some other areas, when you compare the Paris Hostel process to the Paris Hotel prices there is a steep difference.

From eating freshly bake bread to visiting the Eiffel Tower at nighttime, you are definitely going to love this great city if Paris, France. The vast variety of people, activities, and historical buildings make this one of the greatest and most interesting Cities you will ever visit. If you get a chance to visit Paris you need to take the opportunity. It is very rare that a person regrets visiting Paris. Budget your vacation so that you can spend the maximum time possible in Paris. Paris is a beautiful City, but to fully appreciate it you need to actually visit Paris and spend some time there enjoying everything you can that this awesome City offers. Regardless of how much time you get to spend there, you will be wishing you could stay longer.
