How-To Download Youtube Videos To Your iPod

So you just got your brand new iPod video or touch and want to download some videos off Youtube.com and put them on your iPod. Unfortunately Youtube.com doesn't give any means to download any of their videos directly. Fortunately for us, there is a way to get around this and convert the videos into a format that our iPod's accept!

To do this, you are going to need the following:

An email address that accepts larger files (gmail.com is a great email option)
The URL of the Youtube.com video you want to use
A computer with iTunes installed
Your iPod cable

Directions

First, go to Youtube.com and find a video that you would like to put on your iPod and copy the URL
Next, go to http://www.zamzar.com and enter the URL into 'Step 1'
In the step 2 section, scroll down until you see 'Video Formats' and select 'iPod'
In step 3, enter your email address, then click convert over on Step 4
Within minutes, you will get an email containing your freshly converted video.
Plug your iPod into your computer using the iPod cable and load iTunes
Drag the converted file onto your iPod in iTunes and you have successfully downloaded a Youtube.com video to your iPod!
