How To Make Delicious Cinnamon French Toast with Icing Sugar

Making French toast is actually pretty easy and is a fantastic way to use bread that is starting to get older. Older bread tends to be a bit stiffer and is actually better at soaking up the egg mixture that is applied to the bread prior to cooking.

Ingredients:

* 2-3 Eggs
* Bread slices (probably 4-6 slices)
* 1/2 cup Milk
* 1/2 tablespoon of vanilla
* 1/2 tablespoon of sugar
* 2 tablespoons of butter
* 1/2 tablespoon of cinnamon
* Icing Sugar

French Toast Preparation:

Pre-heat the oven on the lowest setting for warming foods

Mix the eggs, vanilla, sugar, cinnamon and milk together in a bowl.

Place each slice of bread into the mixture and coat both sides with the mixture.

In a frying pan or skillet, melt the butter and fry each side of the bread for two to three minutes or until the bread has become golden brown.

Place the fried bread on a baking sheet in the warm oven until all the bread has been cooked.

Sprinkle with icing sugar and serve with your favorite topping. Some topping suggestions are fresh fruit or fresh maple syrup

It's hard to beat breakfast! French toast rocks, and I'm not that great at making it - I'll try this out sometime, thanks.
