How-To Make Sweet And Sour Mix

When bartending many drinks will require sweet and sour mix, but sometimes you run out, or just don't have the time to run out and get it in a pinch.  Thankfully, making home made sweet and sour mix is actually pretty simple.

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup water

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice

  • 1 cup fresh lime juice

Directions:

First, mix your 1 cup of sugar in with your 1 cup of water until all the sugar is fully dissolved. Once the sugar has completely dissolved into the water, add your 1 cup of lime juice and your 1 cup of lemon juice into the mixture.  Mix all the ingredients together thoroughly then refrigerate until you need to use it.

This is easy to prepare. I'd have a question for you: which is the difference between lemon juice and lime juice? If I use only lemon juice will the taste change?
