When bartending many drinks will require sweet and sour mix, but sometimes you run out, or just don't have the time to run out and get it in a pinch.  Thankfully, making home made sweet and sour mix is actually pretty simple.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup water

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice

  • 1 cup fresh lime juice

Directions:

First, mix your 1 cup of sugar in with your 1 cup of water until all the sugar is fully dissolved. Once the sugar has completely dissolved into the water, add your 1 cup of lime juice and your 1 cup of lemon juice into the mixture.  Mix all the ingredients together thoroughly then refrigerate until you need to use it.

This is easy to prepare. I'd have a question for you: which is the difference between lemon juice and lime juice? If I use only lemon juice will the taste change?
