How-To Roll Up A Sleeping Bag

By | 1 Comments | Rating: 0 | |

The worst part of camping is always cleaning up all your gear. If you've brought a lot of stuff with you, making sure everything is packed tight will ensure you can get it all back in your vehicle. Nobody likes to pack, but we are going to give you some basic steps to make sure that your sleeping bags are rolled up nice and tight and are ready for transport.

You want to roll your sleeping bag as tight as possible so you can pack it back into it's bag with ease.

You will want to start rolling the sleeping back from the entry of the sleeping bag (the head) as the ties to tie the sleeping bag up are typically located at the foot of the bag. As you roll the sleeping bag, try to keep it as tight as possible; you will notice air building up as if the sleeping bag was inflating while doing this. Apply some pressure against your newly inflated sleeping bag to help force the air out.

Once you've rolled the sleeping bag up to the feet. Take each tie from the foot of the sleeping bag and wrap it around the rolled up sleeping bag so you can tie both ties up around the sleeping bag. Your sleeping bag should now be folded up tightly and is ready to either be put in a bag or tossed in the back of your vehicle.
