How Much Does Cosmetic Dentistry Cost?
Your smile is one of the first things which people will see when they look at you. Thus, it is only important that you have a nice smile to make a good first impression on people. To achieve a good first impression, you will need two things: 1) you must have nice teeth and good oral health, 2) you need to smile. To achieve both of these two things, you must have teeth and gums which you will be proud of to show off in public. If you feel that your smile isn't attractive enough, then you may benefit from cosmetic dentistry that is designed to provide you with a smile that will dazzle people whom you come across. In this article, I shall talk about the average cosmetic dentistry cost.
So how much are the cosmetic dentistry costs? Well, the cost of cosmetic dentistry will vary considerably depending on the type of procedure you chose and how many teeth you need done. Below are some of the estimated dentistry costs:
Invisalign Braces: One of the more common types of easy procedures is Invisalign braces for aligning teeth. This procedure will cost approximately $5,000, but the price can vary by a few thousands on either end.
Porcelain Crowns: The crowns for each of your teeth can cost around $1000-$2000 per crown. Thus, this cosmetic dentistry procedure can be rather expensive if you are looking to do a complete makeover of your entire set of teeth.
Porcelain Veneers: The cosmetic dentistry veneers cost for these resembles the crowns, at roughly $1,000 to $2,000 per veneer.
Front Tooth Bonding: This is one of the least expensive procedures, with procedures as low as $200 and as high as $1,500.
White Fillings: The costs of this procedure will depend on the number of surfaces that you need completed. In general, each surface will cost roughly $100-$200 each, with few overall procedures priced less than $150.
All in all, cosmetic dentistry is neither inexpensive nor completely unaffordable. The costs will depend largely on the procedures that you choose.
How to Pay for It: Part of your cosmetic dentistry cost can be covered by your dental insurer. However, chances are they will only pay for the aspects which offer some sort of protection. As an example, crowns protect your teeth but the whitened and attractive crowns are optional, and insurance will not cover those (or at least not the entire procedure).
