How Much Does Spray Tanning Equipment Cost?

By | 3 Comments | Rating: 1 | |

This is one of the most asked questions by people who are interested in buying spray tanning equipment for either personal use or for a tanning salon they hope on opening up. Costs vary greatly and there are some systems that cost less than $100 and some systems that cost as much as $20,000. The difference is quality. High end systems will not only give you a better tan but will also be much more safer and healthier. Yes, health is a big concern when dealing with spray tanning equipment. Some equipment don't have proper ventilation or proper drainage. The best equipment take into account the quality of the tan as well as the health of the person using the system.

Prices vary the most for spray tanning equipment that involve booths. Some booths are fully automated and will do everything from fully spraying the person to cleaning up inside the booth after wards. Cheaper units will spray indiscriminately and leave a big mess behind. If however you want a system that is safer, and I mentioned safer because such equipment especially spray tanning booths in general are not safe at all. The safest spray tanning equipment is without a doubt an airbrush that is used to spray the body by hand.

Spray tanning airbrush is much safer because the person receiving the tan is not confined to closed space. Secondly the person receiving the tan is being spray by a human being and not a machine that spray indiscriminately. There is greater chance to avoid coming in contact with a spray tanning solution if you receive the tan by hand. As far as the price for such systems the price is starts at $300 for system that will give you a nice tan.

I love this article! Why buy your equipment separately if you can get it in a kit? There are kits available that include everything someone needs to start up their spray tanning business. These kits include the equipment, solutions, marketing materials, client disposables, well everything you need to get started. I got my Celebrity: Go Mobile Pro Kit from EnvyTan. They also have kits geared toward salons and self tanners. I found these kits are far less expensive then buying the items separately and as an added bonus they remove the headache of searching out everything one needs to get started. My kit even had my spray tanning certification included in it. If you are new to the industry I would definitely recommend checking out these professional spray tanning start-up kits.
