How To Boost The Immune System

The immune system is a collective defense system that the body needs to fight off infection, disease, and illness. You immune system does not fight off pathogens when you don't have a proper diet, aren't excercising regularly, when you are stress, and have lack of proper sleep.

Step 1

Choose a suitable fitness routine that is effective for your particular body and health level. Aim to work out 3-4 times a week with cardio and strength training exercises.

Step 2

Natural therapies are highly effective when trying to boost the immune system. Acupressure, massage, and reflexology can aide circulation to the blood and muscles that naturally release toxins out of the body. Massage and acupuncture especially help put the mind and body at ease which can help the organs function better.

Step 3

Essential oils can strengthen the immune system as it has powerful antibiotic benefits. With a steam humidifier, add in one drop of Eucalyptus oil, but use sparingly, with a natural carrier oil. Frankincense is an essential oil also with antibiotic effects that can clear up chest and nasal infections. Massage essential oils into feet when they are fully diluted and let it sink in.

Step 4

If you have a busy schedule, you can do a quick acupressure exercises that can boost the immune system. First, take your right hand and use your left thumb to walk over the areas between the diaphragm and waist lines (the areas in the middle of the palms). This is a great exercise that helps rejuvenate blood flow in the stomach and digestive tract. Do the same massaging this time with your foot, massaging the middle of the foot with the thumbs.
