How To Fix A Toilet Chain II

Toilet- A toilet is a disposal device for waste and other small trash. The toilet contains water and several pipes inside. The pipes includes a refill tube, a rip lever, a float ball, a flapper, a toilet chain, an outlet, a weir, a trapway, a fill valve, a flush valve seat, a rim holes, and an overflow tube. Not all toilets are the same . There are different kinds of toilets. This includes the jet cleansing toilet and the wireless toilet.

Things You Will Need

Basic Skills
Gloves
Super Glue
A Broken Plastic Toilet Chain


Step 1

Gloves. Gloves are the first things you must put on. The inside of a toilet is always dirty.

Step 2

Next, remove the top part of the toilet. Put it down on the floor carefully. Make sure that it is away from you, so that you do not damage it.

Step 3

Next, locate where the plastic toilet chain is. The plastic toilet chain is connected to flusher.

Step 4

Disconnect the plastic chain from the flusher to the flapper, and remove the plastic toilet chain. If the chain is only damaged by a couple of inches short, then you can still use same chain again.

Step 5

If the plastic toilet chain is broken into two, remove them both. Make sure that you dry the broken chain first before you super glue them back together.



Step 6

Next superglue them both back together. Make sure that they are not overlapped.

Step 7

Leave the chain out to dry. Next do a little clean up inside the toilet.

Step 8

When the chain is usable again, reconnect the chain back. Check to see if the toilet is working.

Step 9

Put the top lid back on the toilet.

It is very easy to install when you do it your way. Remember to always take good care of your toilet because it can be pricey if you hire someone else to do it for you. A clean toilet is a long lasting good toilet.

Tips & Warnings

If the chain is only damaged by a couple of inches short, then you can still use same chain again.
