She stated that she will play her favorite songs during a weight lifting session. Instead of doing reps, she says she will just finish out the song for a set of reps.
  • She takes a break from dance rehershals to practice walking in high heels. Aside from being an amazing vocalist, Beyonce has to wear sky scrapper heels. She says that practicing her walk makes her feel more confident in herself.

Beyonce's Workout Routine

Beyonce has a consistent exercise routine to keep her body looking fabulous. There isn't much that this diva can't do. Beyonce works with her personal trainer 5 times a week and gives herself two days of rest. Beyonce commented saying that she always gets up around 8:30 A.M. She eats her cereal, let's it digest and then starts her workout routine with 30 minutes of cardio followed by 45 minutes of free weights.

Beyonce is also a big fan of running and says that after her morning workout, she will try to squeeze in running. She has stated that she can run 4 miles in a 45 minute jog. She also likes to switch up her routines by taking yoga classes. Beyonce says that yoga makes her feel accomplished - plus it makes her sweat!

Beyonce told SELF magazine that she doesn't eat red meat, bread or drink alcohol. She also stated that she likes to eat a lot of boring green vegetables and fresh organic raw foods.

This singer/actress has also made it very known that when she needs to drop the weight fast, she has a secret weapon called The Lemonade Diet. This is a popular detox diet that consists of lemons, purified water, maple syrup and cayenne pepper. She dropped nearly 20 pounds with this diet for her role in "Dream Girls". Beyonce has also commented saying that she loves chocolate and sweet foods, but tries to stay away from them. She says that she will let herself have a bite or two and then walk away from it.
