How To Get A Google Adsense Publisher ID
You could try submitting the root domain.
Also, if you have a blogspot domain like dineshgahlot.blogspot.com you could submit that url to Google. They have no problem with you using your Adsense on numerous sites once approve on one.
You can submit any domain actually. It is up to the reviewer at Google if they wish to accept it though. Some are more strict than others.
But i think i'm suppose to submit ‘http://www.Infobarrel.com/Users/test’
Can u please make it a bit more clear.Sorry for the trouble i'm new to this.
Info barrel rejected one of my article saying it exist on my other site. But it's written by me and i have all writes .Wat u suggest ?
thanks in advance.
Hey Dineshgahlot,
Even if you have written the article and own the rights, we only accept articles that have not been published elsewhere. We want all the content on Infobarrel to be unique to Infobarrel.
In regards to getting denied by Google Adsense, it really depends on who reviews your account. You can try resubmitting it with your user account 'http://www.infobarrel.com/Users/dineshgahlot', but before you do, make sure you have at least 1-2 approved articles on Infobarrel as well as a bit of a bio. If Google was to look at your profile it looks incomplete at the moment and will most likely deny it.
Ok, thanks a ton for your support.
I'll try adsense after 10-12 articles submition. hope it'll work.
thanks again
regards
dinesh
so i already had an adsense account before i started on infobarrel. my question is in order to receive payment for ad clicks on my articles, all i have to do is add my google adsense publisher id to my info barrel account? I dont have to do anything in my google adsense account? the money will just show up as people click? thanks and sorry for all the questions.
Hi Papa0s0,
You are correct. Just ad your Adsense Publisher ID into your InfoBarrel account and you will begin displaying ads on your articles immediately and get paid as they click.
Is there anyway to track individual articles so I know which ones are generated the revenue - can I just add each article as a url channel?
Hi Lissie,
You can indeed create separate channels for each of your articles on Google Adsense. Here is a link to to Google's walk through for setting it up.

My google adsense account shows much fewer views than the totals listed for my articles. Why is this?
The views listed on the actual articles is a very raw number. It includes page refreshes, when people hit the back button amongst other things. The data within Google Adsense is unique impressions, so the Infobarrel numbers will be a bit inflated on our site.
If you want to verify that you are indeed getting your 75% of the Adsense views, just refresh the page a few times and in the source code take a look at who's pubsliher ID is loading, you will see yours 75% of the time.
Hope that answers your question!
Stupid question, do you want the id with the pub-prefix or without? What do I put in the relevant field in my profile pub-0000000000000 or 0000000000000 ? Thanks, SY
how long will i wait to see clicks and impressions after adding my adsense id to infobarrel
You should start seeing impressions on your account within a day of adding your adsense ID to your account on InfoBarrel. In order to see your click and impression stats you will need to add a URL channel for InfoBarrel.
For more info on this, take a look at this article: https://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=32614&sourceid=aso&subid=ww-ww-et-asui&medium=link
I already had a google pub id and I've entered it into my profile. When I check my google account I don't see infobarrel listed with my other site/blog as being signed up with adsense. Do I need to do anything in my adsense account to make sure infobarrel clicks are recorded? Also, I'm having a problem with my infobarrel account not being verifed yet--could this be preventing me from seeing infobarrel on adsense?
Hey Bestmommy,
Your adsense account should begin recording clicks and impressions as soon as your adsense ID has been validated on our end, which is almost immediately after you have entered it in. It may take a few hours for the impressions to show on you account because of Google's delay on its reporting end.
To see Infobarrel as a site listing on your account you have to set it up as a URL channel. For more info on this, take a look at this article: https://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=32614&sourceid=aso&subid=ww-ww-et-asui&medium=link
I set up my infobarrel link as a channel as you said and I still have not seen any impressions or click throughs in my adsense account under my infobarrel channel. I know my articles have gotten views. Can you please check my account and let me know if I need to change anything so this will start working properly? When I entered my google id I included the "pub" prefix. Could that be the problem? Do we need to include it or not?
Same question as Hospitalera and Bestmommy - do we include the 'pub-' with our Adsense ID or just the string of numbers ?
People - I have discovered (not fromthe Infobarrel team) that you need to incude the pub- when adding your Adsense ID - but I have to say that it has made no difference as mine still won't work !
Yes- I too am wondering if admin can answer the question if we need to put pub- in the field for adsense on the form we use at infobarrel or not. Can you reply to that question?
SUANU
am absolutely new to this google adsense, so i will like to know more about you people to guide me afterwards.
I think you should write an article that has instructions about how to make an InfoBarrel channel specifically. The Google link doesn't answer all my questions and I'm not sure if I entered the information right. Are we supposed to make a channel for infobarrel.com/users/ourusername? And then that will include all our articles? Also, I did that last night, and this afternoon the reports still show up as "no data available" so I don't know if I did it right. Thanks.
Hey Lucky317,
You actually only need to make a channel for the domain name (infobarrel.com). This will make sure that all your articles are reported in your adsense account.
question:
the adsense publisher id is in the form "ca-pub-xxxxx"
do we take this one or do we have to remove the "ca-" from the beginning?
Hi Cedric,
You can leave the "ca-" part if you want. It will work. you can also take it off, it will work as well.
I am getting:
Before we show detailed stats and information about your site, we need to know you're really the site owner.
I try to verify this with the meta tag and the HTML code but I wasn't sure how to do this and the instructions were just not good.
this is all coming from Google webmaster tools. I really need help - I do have the publisher id code. thanks
Hey Capecreator,
Google Webmaster Tools is not where you should be adding Infobarrel. I think what you are looking for is Google Adsense. (http://www.google.com.adsense)
If you need some more help please email us with the Contact Us form.
Do we need to give Google a Separate URLS for each infobarrel we write? ....it's just that after writing say 50 infobarrels my channels would be overwhelmed with URLs. Have you got a system where we can track all our infobarrels from just one URL??
Simply adding this URL http://www.infobarrel.com to my channel will get all my infobarrels seen by Google ...sorry for the above post as i just read another post about this issue.
I am so confused after reading all these posts. I have written several articles and have no idea if any of them are being credited on my Google ad sense. Is there an article that better explains any of this?
Let me see if I have this straight. I just signed up for info barrel and now I need to submit and get a couple of my articles accepted before I go to Google Adsense and get a publisher's Id. On getting a pub. Id, I then enter that number, and only the numbers, into my Infobarrel account page. Once that is done, I will have to go back to Google Adsense whenever I want to check how much money I am making and they will pay me by check when I reach the payout level of $100. Is this correct so far?
Hi Aupoet,
You are not actually required to have articles before submitting to get an Adsense account, but it is recommended as they have been known to reject users that have just submitted their user page with no articles written.
Once you get your publisher ID you need to put in the full ID which includes the "pub-" part as well as the 16 digits.
Other than those corrections you've got it.
Thanks for setting me straight. I hope it works out better here than over at ehow. I'm sick of being lied to and ignored.
I agree, ehow waited until I had money built up then they deleted my account they said I had content that was already on the web, I was writing this myself I knew it wasn't anywhere else.Maybe it was because I always ran it on grammar check, had long articles etc. they thought I wasn't smart enough to write that well..lol..I had over 50 articles and they just up and deleted my account with no money put in my pal pal either. Not sure how I'm going to do here but I'm trying for a bit.

If you don't have a website but you want to sign up for adsense, you can simply create a blogger account and start a simple blog. After making a few posts to it, sign up for the adsense program from there. Its very simple and straight forward. After that you can then get your adsense ID and add it to infobarrel.com
Apparently, Adsense requires a website. What if you do not have one? Tripe4444
Hi tripe4444,
If you do not have a website you can use your Infobarrel profile page as your site. http://www.infobarrel.com/Users/tripe4444 would be yours.
Evening everyone...Please advise where I'm going wrong. I have my google account set up and pub ID placed in infobarrel. In order to set my adsense, I went to my Adsense Setup; there you had several choices; Adsense for Content: Adsense for Search: Adsense for Feed: and Adsense for Domain. I tried going for the domain, placing my entire path of www.infobarrel.com/users/netwelth; but it said "URL must not end with a path". Am I in the right place? Is this where I can insert "infobarrel.com and that's it?
Hey Netwelth,
That is all you need to do to start earning off your articles here at Infobarrel. In order to track your earnings you'll want to add an Infobarrel channel to your adsense account.
For instructions on how to do this check out this: https://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=13993

I have approved articles in my account. And I applied for the adsense account about three weeks back. But till now google has not approved my application. What might be the reason? I have some referrels as well. Can somebody clarify?
Hey Ashkuls,
Have you received any emails from adsense at all? If you have and they denied you, try resubmitting your application. To my knowledge there is not limit to the amount of applications you can submit. If you haven't give another day or two and resubmit your application anyways.
ymotorwala
HI..I have posted an srticle on infobarrel, which has been approved and available for viewing. When I tried to create an adsense account (gave the address www.infobarrel/user... for google adsense), it was rejected by google with the below reason:

How may I create a google adsense account - I am currently featured as a top writer on your site, and my article has seen almost 140 views in 2 days...I maybe missing out on some good opportunities to earn...Please help!
Hey Ymotorwala,
Try submitting just http://www.infobarrel.com. This is what we have been suggesting for people who are getting denied on their first attempt and it has been working for them.
Hello! I hope this is not too newbie a question, but how long does it usually take to see adsense and/or chitka profits? Do you earn just by getting clicks on your articles or does someone have to actually click an Ad on one of my articles?
I am not seeing any profits yet, but it's only been a few days, so I guess I just have to traffic my articles more. Thanks for all of your wonderful support, I am enjoying writing here so far!
