Here is my favorite advice on how to get lots of twitter followers

How to get lots of twitter followers fast is a common concern for most people signed up on twitter. If you're not on twitter yet, you're missing out! It's a great way to connect with new people and make new friends. It's really awesome also for business purposes and can get a lot of exposure for your brand. Here is my favorite advice on how to get lots of twitter followers.

I cannot remember where I found out about this technique but it really works. Here's how it works.

Step 1. Get a twitter account

Step 2. Go to Twellow or any similar website and search for a twitter user that is in your niche. For example, if you want people who are interested in green issues, search for "green". You should find some power users in that niche using this technique. Now, this leads me to step 3.

Step 3. Either follow that power user or don't. What you really want to do is to list at who is following them. Who is interested in following people related to green issues?(green issues is only an example here of course) Open up the power user's list of followers and begin to follow them, one by one, up to a couple of hundred. I'd say stop at 200 so you don't raise any red flags with twitter. We don't want to get your account banned. Once you have done this, you can move on to step number 4.

Step 4. What will happen here is that some(not all) of those twitter users interested in your niche will begin to add you back and begin to follow you like you are following them. It may start as a trickle of twitter followers but you will quickly gain momentum. The key here is to follow 200 twitter users a day that are interested in your niche.

Step 5. After about 2 weeks of doing this, you should have a couple of hundred of twitter followers yourself but you will notice that once you are following 2000 twitter users, you cannot follow anyone else. That's because there are limits to how many people you can follow. You can only follow more than 2000 twitter users once you have 2000 followers yourself. So, what's the solution to this problem? Do we stop here? No! There's an easy fix to this problem. Once you reach your limit of 2000 users. Use a tool that allows you to unfollow anyone who is not following you back. My favorite tool for this is Just Unfollow. You can find them at http://www.justunfollow.com/. So, use that tool to unfollow everyone who is not following you. This will free up a lot of space for you and you will be able to go back to step 3 and 4.

Step 6. Begin again to follow another 200 twitter users in your niche every single day until you reach your limit of 2000 and simply repeat the process until you get 2000 followers yourself. Once you reach 2000 followers, you'll be allowed to follow more than 2000 users yourself. You will have reached the second level of twitter.

Step 7. Simply continue this process past 4000 followers, to 6000 followers and so on and so forth until you have the amount of followers you want! It's that easy! This strategy works. I can vouch for it. I've tried it myself and it really works.

Of course, there are other approaches to getting lots of twitter followers but this is what has worked for me in the past.

Now, the big question is why would you want so many followers? The answer to that question is that there are a million and one reasons why you would want so many followers. Personally, I want more followers for business reasons. The more followers I get, the traffic I can send to my articles here on InfoBarrel and the more money I ultimately make. It's as simple as that my friends!

Hope you enjoyed this article and I wish you the best of luck on your journey to more twitter followers!
