By | Jan 22, 2010 | 0 Comments | Rating: 0

Lets face it we've all had blackheads from time to time. Perhaps it was during your teenage years or for the unlucky ones out there it's continued all the way through your adulthood. If you get a blackhead on your nose or forehead there are a number of options out there for you to help you get rid of that nasty spot. So what do you do if you have a blackhead in your ear? For a start its hard to even detect blackheads in this area. You'll have to do some tricky work with some mirrors or rely on a friend to let you know which can be a bit embarrassing. The real pain is trying to get blackheads out of this area because its so awkward.

So is there a way to get rid of blackheads in your ear? Well part of the difficulty in getting rid of blackheads in this area is down to the shape of your ear but it is a really common place to find little black spots. Firstly I'd recommend using a goof cleanser where you're in the shower. Prevention is the key to getting rid of blackheads in your ear. Work the cleanser into your daily routine where you're getting washed in the shower paying particular attention to cleaning your ears and the surrounding area. A good way to apply the cleanser is to use a Q tip and simply dab the cleanser on to the spots. This is a much more accurate way to treat blackheads. Remember never to put any of the cleanser inside your ear, if you do rinse it out immediately. If any irritation occurs then be sure to stop this method of treatment.

I've seen quite a few sites online recommending home remedies to get rid of blackheads but I feel that they are just far too risky to be using around your ears. You don't want to be putting anything in this area that isn't supposed to be there as it's so sensitive. Most of the home remedies revolve around using honey or baking soda and you definitely don't want any of this to get in your ears. One method I have had some success with is using a chemical exfoliant to help clear up blackheads. This is one treatment where you do need to apply it by using a Q tip for accuracy. You should apply this and leave it for a few minutes and then rinse thoroughly. Make sure that the exfoliant has been completely washed away from the area. With any lucky you should start to see a difference in a few days as this will break up the blackhead and help you remove them from your skin.

Try some of the methods above and you may be successful in getting rid of blackheads in your ear.
