How To Hire A Carpet Cleaner

By Edited Feb 23, 2016 0 0

Finding a carpet cleaning company is not always the easiest thing to do. You probably only hire a carpet cleaner once every couple of years so you most likely do not know what is important and what questions to ask. In this article, you will find some tips on choosing a carpet cleaning company. I hope that you use it to help you choose a worthy cleaner instead of one of the many poor companies in the industry.

The first thing that you need to do is put together a list of carpet cleaning companies. Choose at least three different companies for you to decide between. The easiest way to find companies is to do a search for your city and carpet cleaning on a search engine such as Google. Pick three that sound good to research, more if you fel like doing a lot of calling.

Now, put together a list of questions. You will want to know what method of carpet cleaning they use, how long they have been in business, if they are insured, what they charge and who will be doing the work. In addition to these questions, add a couple of ones that are important to you.Think about what factors are important to you like are they baby safe or do they use solvents.

Now, call each carpet cleaner and ask them these questions. Write down their answers on a piece of paper so that you can review them later. After you have called all of the companies on your list, decide which companies answers made the most sense and who you were the most comfortable with. Lastly, ask them for a few references and call and check them. Make sure that you check them though, because you might be surprised at just howmany companies send out phony references.

That is it, you have now done much more than most people do when hiring a carpet cleaning contractor. Your odds of finding a qualified one have increased dramatically. So, do your due dilligence and choose a qualified carpet cleaner. After all, you only get it done once every few years so you might as well get it done right.
