It is the New Year, time to set that goal that you probably will not keep! That is right, hardly any of us will stick to our goal of losing weight that we promised ourselves at 12: AM on January 1st! I know, it sounds harsh, but do you realize that you can make a few simple changes that will have you several sizes slimmer by New Years next year?

Although many people want to find a fast weight loss plan, the chances of you sticking with a diet like that is going to be slim. If you just make a few easy changes now, you will have the compliments coming in by the earful when the next year gets here!

No magical solution is going to appear before you to melt away your fat. Settle in and lose weight over the course of the next year and you will not even notice you are dieting. Think of how fast this year went by, or if you had made these changes a year ago, how much better you would feel today!

So here are a few tips to have you skinny a year from now with little to no effort:

Use slim fast if you are in a hurry. Do this instead of going through the fast food joint. This done once a week could save you 3000 calories a month. That does not even count replacing any of your other meals each week!

Walk your dog around the neighborhood a couple times a week. Do something to burn calories each day, even if it is small. It will add up over the next few weeks, months and year!

Drop the soda. Try diet soda or water. If you are a big soda drinker, this could be a huge help to your weight loss success!

Add foods or diet supplements that will boost your metabolism. This can help to burn more calories each day.

There are many fast weight loss plans to read about, but many people do not follow through with them, or hardly ever are able to be successful with them. It is better to take 12 months to lose weight, than to not have lost it at all on a fast weight loss diet. Starvation is not necessary. Make minor changes and watch the weight come off, slowly but surely, it will!
