We each have the ability to look and feel our best. To make it happen, we have to put in the effort. When the business of this world takes priority in our lives we tend to let ourselves go. We put on weight and eat poorly. Follow these steps to look at feel your best.

Sleep More

The benefits of sleep are endless. Getting more sleep helps you think clearly, focus, recover and feel good. Everyone has their own needs for sleep. It's not just about what you can survive on the next day, but how much sleep does your body need. Reality is that you probably need somewhere between 7-9 hours of sleep each night. If you aren't in that range then you probably need to make an adjustment to your sleep schedule.

Step 2

Exercise Regularly

Setup a exercise routine to get in shape. If you have weight to lose, don't put it off another day. When you workout your body releases endorphins which give you that exercise high you often feel. Exercise will increase your energy and confidence levels. It will also give your body the activity it needs during the day so that you can sleep deeper at night and get more rest. Exercise is a key component to look and feel your best.

Step 3

Improve Your Diet

Eating healthy has positive affects on your mind and body. Eating fruit and vegetables and avoiding junk food and soda will give you more energy, improve the way you look and increase your confidence levels. Drink water when you go out to lunch instead of soda or try brining your lunch to work each day so that you have more control over what you eat.

Step 4

Change The Way You Think

Drop the negative thoughts. No matter how out of shape you are or how bad you feel about yourself start focusing on the future. Leave the old you behind and think about where you are headed.

Step 5

Have More Fun

Spend more time with friends in social settings. Spend time kicking back and having a good time. Make a list of the things you like to do and go out and do them. If you have to, call some friends you have not spoken to in a while and be an initiator. If you want to look and feel your best you have to spend time with people you love.

So to look and feel your best you need to sleep more, exercise, eat well, have a positive attitude and spend time with the ones you love.
