Do You Want To Loose Weight and Keep It Off?

An Elliptical Trainer Is Perfect For Getting Into Shape

Loosing weight can be difficult. Thankfully, it doesn't have to be. The best wieght loss strategy is one that is slow and steady and incorporates both diet an exercise. Trying to loose weight too fast is unhealthy and almost impossible to maintain.

However, if you can make small changes to your routine that brings your weight down over time, it should be very easy to keep those changes in place even after you've hit your target weight.

Here are some of my tips for loosing weight with an elliptical trainer.

Choose The Right Elliptical Trainer

Choosing a good elliptical trainer is essential to your efforts to shed pounds. This is why I recommend the Sole E35 Elliptical Trainer. It is an extremely well designed machine in that it is sturdy and runs very smoothly, despite the relatively low cost compared to other ellipticals.

The Sole E35 is designed for in home use, and priced accordingly. However, the level of craftmanship is comparable to some models designed to be used in gyms. It will not rattle or shake when in use and is designed with ergonomics in mind.

The E35 also comes with a chest strap for monitoring your heart rate. This is much more accurate than the sensors on the hand grips. I highly recommend using this during your workout to keep your heart rate in the target zone.

There are Sole E35 reviews you can read online to help you decide if this machine is right for you.

Stick To A Plan

Following a consistent plan is neccessary if you want to loose weight. Here are my suggestions for a plan that you can follow to acheive results:

  1. Daily: Weigh yourself and track it in a notebook. This will allow you to watch for patterns and will also help you to stay in the write mindset for weight loss.
  2. Daily: Write down what you eat. You can count the calories if you want, however, unless you are actually weighing and mesuring all of your food it is very easy to make bad estimates. What I recommend is simply writing everything down. You should already know what foods are high in calories or fat, so just the act of writing it down will get you to think more about the choices you are making.
  3. Daily: Drink plenty of water. Good hydration is essential to good health and weight loss.
  4. Mon, Wed, and Fri: Workout on your elliptical machine for about 15 minutes. Use programs that vary the resistance, incline, and have you pedal in reverse.
  5. Tues and Thurs: Do Muscle Building Workouts. This can be any type of exercise that builds lean muscle mass, such as using weights, machines, or even doing some simple pushups and situps. The idea here is to build muscle in order to boost your metabolism.

I hope that you have found these elliptical trainer weight loss tips helpful. Just remember to stay positive and to not give up if you skip a day or even a whole week! Simply take some time to refocus your thoughts and get back into the action.

Get Support

Another way to ensure to ensure that you have good results in your weight loss plans is to become part of a supportive community. My recommendation is to ask your friends and family to encourage you in your efforts. Sometimes, they may be unfomfortable with this because they will feel like they are critizicing you or reminding you of something unpleasant.

One alternative is to get involved in a weight loss forum or blog, or even a blog of your own. You can post your updates and ask people to support you. In turn, you can give them encouragement as well. This accountability will help you to keep your goals in mind and have a good attitude about things.
