Most people want to lose weight, so that they can look and feel better about themselves. Being overweight is a tremendous confidence knocker and stops a large number of people living the life's that they want to live. Being overweight can also make the face appear fatter as well. But to lose face fat you need to lose it from all over your body. You cannot spot reduce when it comes to losing weight.
The first thing you need to do is look at your lifestyle, ask yourself the question why am I overweight?. The question to this answer 9 times out of 10. Is going to be I eat a diet jam packed with junk food and I do no physical exercise.
If you are overweight due to lack of exercise and eating junk food. Then your already half way there to losing it, because you know what is making you fat. All you need to do to change it, is start eating healthier and start exercising.
But this is easier said than done, most people who don't exercise tend to use the excuse I haven't got time to exercise my life is too busy. That's BS and you know it, try getting out of bed an hour earlier three times a week and exercising.
There are lots of ways to exercise in the comfort of your own home and you can make it fun by listening to music or watching TV as you are doing it. The only home gym equipment you need to start losing weight is a set of dumbbells, an exercise bike or treadmill and gym clothing. That's it the dumbbells can be used to build up your strength and the bike or treadmill can be used for your cardio workouts.
A word of advice though, take it easy at first and build it up as you go along. The same can be said about your diet plan. If you are a person who does no exercise and lives off junk food, it will be extremely hard to come off it, to live a lifestyle of healthy living and exercise. The sudden extreme change will be too much for most people and this is one of the main reasons why most people quit. Because they find that they are missing the delicious tasting junk food and get bored of exercising.
Start off slow and slowly do more exercise, each week start eating less junk and before you know it the weight will be flying off you and you will find that your diet is 100% healthier and you enjoy exercise so much that it is now part of your life. A diet and exercise program isn't just to be used to lose weight. It is a program that you need to add into your life forever.
To keep trim, fit and healthy eating sensibility and exercise should be part of your life, think of it as a job. You have to work each day to pay the bills, so you need to exercise and eat healthy to stay fit and trim and live a long and enjoyable life.
