Some of those diets pills and weight loss drugs might help you a little bit, but they're certainly not the miracle cures for obesity that the advertisements want you to believe. The results of these pills and drugs are usually only temporary and they don't really help you in the long run.

With a concerted effort, you can still accomplish some pretty fast weight loss. It's all about being on a healthy diet that gives you all the nutrients you need but also gives you a daily caloric deficit in order to force your body to burn fat. If you do exercies on top of this, you're going to give your weight loss results a real boost. If you live this lifestyle strictly and consistently, you can burn up to 1 pound of pure body fat per week! That's about as fast as weight loss can ever go. You're going to have to be happy with this, because this is how it's always been and this is how it will always be.

Slow and steady definitely wins the race in regards to weight loss. If you lose more than 4 pounds per week, it is impossible to lose only fat (meaning you will be also losing muscle mass)!
