The oven should be preheated to 375 degrees Fahrenheit/190 degrees Celsius. This means that the oven needs to be at 375/190 degrees before we put the cookies in for the timing to be right. Just turning the knob to 375/190 doesn't mean you're ready.

This is a list of ingredients;

  • 2 - 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon of regular baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon of table salt
  • 3/4 of a cup of sugar
  • 3/4 of a cup of brown sugar packed tight in the measuring cup.
  • 2 full cups of semi sweet chocolate morsels
  • 1 cup of chopped nuts (optional)
  • 2 large eggs
