If you already have a blog that you write regular posts for, you may decide that you would like to make a little money from all your writing. One way that is very easy to make money is to register with Google adsense and get an account.

This is one of the easiest ways to make money online and you really do not have to put that much effort into it. Once your account has been confirmed, all you have to do is to work out where you want to place your ads on your blog, create the coding block, cut and paste. If you are writing on a blogger blog, you don’t even have to create the coding because there is a simple section that you just have to add to your blog template. It will show you examples of the way ads will be displayed on your site. There will be block ads that will be either words or images.

The type of ads that will display on your blog will be determined by the type of things that you write about. Ads will always correspond with the initial subject of the written post.

An Example

If you are writing a blog about your pet dog, your articles will not doubt contain various things to do with dogs, whether you are describing the clothes that you have dressed it in, the dog food that you are using, or how many times a day you walk him or her. Google will recognise the subject matter and send adverts that have to do with dogs. So you could see ads for pet food stores, dog food, dog clothes and vets etc. Basically your ads will be anything to do with canines. If Google can not understand what the topic of your blog is about you will receive no ads or you will see public information adverts instead.

How To Make Money

In order to understand how to make money from your blog with adsense you need to understand that people have to click your ads in order to convert this into money. The best way to do this is to let people know that your blog exists. The easiest way to do this is to sign up to some social book marking sites and to sign up to twitter. If you register for a twitter account you can let all your friends know about your latest posts. It is also a great idea to sign up with Facebook and get even more exposure for your blog.

The more people who can see it, the more opportunities you will have that the adverts will be of interest and that someone will click. All those clicks will convert into commissions for you and you are on your way to making money with adsense. This is basically a starting point for making money online. If you are interested in making even more money read as much as you can to find out even better ways to improve your earnings.

I feel like people who come from Twitter will probably be more interested in the content than the ads...but good advice anyway!

Hi all -
Thank you for your commments.
ashkuls -
I am not sure about getting an account these days. When I applied for one, I was able to sign up straight away. I having been trying to get an ebay affiliate link but am having absolutely no luck at all. All I can say is to keep trying. As long as you have a couple of informative blogs, you should be able to succeed eventually.
