How To Make Money Online with Xomba

By Edited Nov 26, 2016 0 5

In this economy more and more people are trying to make money online. The fact is, there are lots of ways to make money online, but most of them take more effort than really anyone is willing to give. If you can write decently, you may be interested in a website called Xomba. Xomba is a revenue sharing website on which you can post your content - even something as simple as a link - and get paid advertising profits from Google Adsense.

Things You Will Need

* Articles to post (or to link to)
* Patience. Success never comes overnight.

Step 1

Sign up for Google Adsense.

To participate in Adsense, you need to be at least 18 years of age. You will need to be able to prove you are eligible to receive funds from Google by entering your SSN or Tax ID number. The IRS requires companies like Google to have this information on file before paying you.

Xomba will split it's Adsense revenue 50/50 with you by showing your adsense ads 50% of the time on your content. If you understand Adsense, you know this is a big deal - and has excellent earning potential.

It may take a few days for your account to be approved by Google. Once you get the approval notice from Google, you can proceed to step 2.

Step 2

Sign up at Xomba.com

The sign up process at Xomba is pretty straightforward. You will be asked to create a username and password, enter your email address, state your age, and agree to the Xomba terms of service and posting rules.

Step 3

To earn money from Xomba, you will need to enter your Adsense publisher ID number.

To get your publisher ID number, log in to your Google Adsense account. You will find your publisher ID in the top right corner of the page. It looks like pub-###############. Copy this number.

Now, log in to Xomba.com and click on "View My Profile." You will then have four options: "View" , "Edit" , "Subscriptions" , "Track." Click on "Edit". In the "Edit" tab, click on "Adsense."

Then you should see a text box that says "Google Adsense Client ID." This is where you want to put your Publisher ID.

Make sure you enter the full number INCLUDING "pub-" If you leave that part out, you won't earn anything.

When you are done, click Submit.

Step 4

Now you are free to post on Xomba.

There are two kinds of posts on Xomba: Xombytes and Xomblurbs.

Xombytes are like typical articles that you would find elsewhere on the web. There is a 150 word minimum for Xombytes, so plan accordingly.

Xomblurbs are short snippets with a link to another website, article, video, blog, or the like. Xomblurbs are great for getting free traffic to your eHow content, Bukisa page, personal website, or whatever else you want to promote.

Step 5

Comment on other users' posts

The best way to get traffic on Xomba is to make friends on the site. Read, rate and comment on their work - and they will do the same for you.

Remember - as with anything else - if you help other users achieve their goals, they are more likely to help you. Array

Tips & Warnings

* Make sure to read the terms of service and posting guidelines to avoid any problems.
* Be open and friendly. People like a friendly face, and will be more likely to visit your content if you show that attitude on Xomba.
* Don't post any Xombyte or Xomblurb more than once. This can get you flagged for spamming.

Venn99, two things...

1) WHY would you fall for that scam?

...and...

2) Spam is not appreciated. There are many many ways to promote your site. This is not the place.

I have found Xomba to be a great way to promote my online content, blogs and websites. In addition to building backlinks to my content, I have earned money from Xomba's revenue sharing. I think it's a good site.

Xomba is just one of a number of sites you can earn Adsense revenue from by submitting articles. Here are few other good ones:

InfoBarrel.com - Write on any topic and earn up to 90% of the Adsense revenue share.

Hubpages.com - Create hubs and earn 60% Adsense revenue. You can also earn commissions from Amazon sales if you have an Amazon Associates account.

GlobeTales.com - If you write travel articles you can submit them to this website. Best of all you earn 100% of the Adsense revenue your articles generate.

Infobarrel shares minimum 70% revenue share compared to Xomba's 50% share. Still, a good site to diversify on for the ability to link between domains.
