Arrange an Alicante car hire if you need to rent a car for your stay in Alicante. The airport is around six miles from downtown Alicante, which means you could use a taxi if you prefer. If you are staying in Alicante, getting around on your own with out a car hire is easy to do. This is especially true if you stay in the Old Town area of Alicante. Public transportation is also available in the form of buses and trams. It is cheap with bus service starting at 6:30 a.m. and going until 11 p.m.

A variety of hotel options are available in Alicante. You can book hotel when you get your plane tickets if you are using one of the online travel agencies. You can also opt for a vacation rental, which are typically inexpensive in Alicante. Vacation rentals can be cheaper than hotels if you are staying for around a week. Keep in mind that you are more likely to need a car though if you're not staying in a hotel.
