Just make sure that the gum you choose contains a sugar substitute called Xylitol. Chewing gum with Xylitol not only tastes good but will also help create more saliva to continue to wash away the bad stuff in your mouth. So start chewing!

Controlling bad breath can be done by simply drinking more water. We've all heard the benefits of drinking water for overall health. If you are dehydrated...that generally means your mouth will be dry. Dry mouth allows the bacteria to grow and as you now know ...that will automatically mean bad breath. So drink lots of water to keep you hydrated and to keep washing the bad bacteria and little food particles from your mouth.
